Valérie Dujardin

Valerie Dujardin has more than 20 years of experience in impact investing and more specifically in the management of private assets. Her experience ranges from assessing investment opportunities, structuring and managing alternative impact funds, to managing private and public investor relationships and leading investment teams and processes.
Valerie started her career in 1999 with the French Development Financial Institution PROPARCO based out of Johannesburg, Harare and Paris analysing investment funds and financial institutions in emerging and frontier markets. In 2006, she joined Symbiotics, a Swiss impact asset management company focusing on financial inclusion in emerging markets, where she held several managerial positions including head of business development and head of the portfolio management and advisory team.
Since launching her independent consulting practice in 2020, Valerie has served on the boards and investment committees of impact-focused asset management firms, renewable energy companies, and impact investment funds. She is also a member of the Selection Committees of the Luxembourg-based International Climate Finance Accelerator (ICFA) and the International Social Finance Accelerator (ISFA), supporting emerging impact asset managers in the successful launch of their funds. In addition, she serves on the Financial Commission of the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, a Geneva-based umbrella foundation.
Valerie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Sorbonne University (Paris, France).
