Quadia’s second investment in The Renewal Workshop

Dear Friends & Partners,

After announcing our investment in the French-based B2B second-hand player, Patatam, a month ago, we are pleased to announce our participation, via the Regenero Impact Fund, in The Renewal Workshop’s (TRW) recent USD 6m financing round.

With its strong commitment to a circular textile value chain, with this financing TRW will be accelerating the expansion of its B2B circular solutions for fashion brands in Europe and the US. Besides the Regenero Impact Fund, which Quadia manages in partnership with Degroof Petercam, the funding round includes Rubio Ventures, Shift Invest, Closed Loop Partners, Gratitude Railroad, Portland Seed Fund, Fashion for Good, DOEN, Mosiaco Management, Mistletoe, and Volta Circle.

We believe that a number of complementary circular business models are needed to enable a deep transformation of the textile value chain towards less resource-consuming and waste-free systems. Innovative, impactful players such as TRW and Patatam, whose company DNA and business models provide contribute to building a regenerative economy, are key to support global textile leaders in their commitments to mainstream circular approaches.

Quadia will continue to support innovative players in the textile sector, with the aim of creating positive economic, environmental and social impact through circular approaches while at the same time generating attractive returns for investors. To find out more please visit www.quadia.ch.
